The Norristown Preservation Society is working to preserve the legacy of Gen. Andrew Porter, Gov. David Rittenhouse Porter, Sec. James Madison Porter and the Porter family.

The Andrew Knox family, son Thomas P. Knox, Pennsylvania State Agricultual Society president, his wife Sarah Leedom Knox and their family.

Joseph Fornance, Historical Society of Montgomery County president, his wife Ellen Knox Fornance and their family.

Major Joseph Knox Fornance, Montgomery County Bar president and Mrs. Ruth Ryder Fornance.

And their home, Historic Selma Mansion at 1301 West Airy Street in Norristown.
